Boronia Absolute

Boronia absolute is produced from the flowers of Brown Boronia (Boronia megastigma); an Australian native shrub with intensely rich, fragrant flowers.
Plantation production of this plant was pioneered here in Tasmania and we have been supplying this unique extract with its valuable flavour enhancing properties for some 20 years.

Boronia absolute has an intense, rich, flowery aroma; initially combining the natural green freshness of cassis with the character of ripening hay. It develops exotic fruit undertones of yellow freesias with a somewhat woody dry-out.

Because of its persistence and intensity, the extract is valued in high quality perfumes. As an ingredient in food flavourings, boronia is an excellent addition to citrus and berry formulations.
